The sheets that found their way home.

I moved to Australia carrying a lot of things. But what I missed most was something simple — the feeling of getting into bed.

In India, I grew up with premium cotton. Not a luxury, just a given. Bedsheets that felt rich, heavy, and soft. A bedroom that felt complete. What I didn't realize then was that these choices were becoming a part of me — not decisions I made consciously, but a quiet standard I carried without knowing it. The feel of good cotton, the weight of it, the way a bedroom should smell and look and feel at the end of a long day. Effortless, instinctive, and entirely my own.

When I settled in Sydney, I tried every bedsheet I could find. Nothing came close. The cotton felt thin. The fitted sheets popped off my mattress every night. The bedroom I had worked so hard to make beautiful never quite felt right.

So I did what I had always done — I had my sheets parceled over from India.

One morning, opening a fresh delivery, it clicked. Why should I be the only one?
